  • AIP sponsored a three-day training program for fruit and vegetable producers, organized by the Centre of Food Science and Technology (CFST), Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) from March 13-15, 2012. The program focused on imparting training to scholars, producers and small-scale entrepreneurs from several Indian states on the best practices to follow in the production of fruits and vegetables.

  • A three-day training program focusing on cross-cutting socio-economic themes in agriculture was organized at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) by the Agricultural Innovation Partnership (AIP). During this program, vocational exposure was given to small entrepreneurs by faculty members from various universities, wherein they shared their expertise in the area of processing techniques involved in preparation of dairy products.

  • As part of the Agricultural Innovation Partnership’s (AIP) commitment to improve agricultural education in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in India, six students from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi; seven students from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUA&T), Meerut; and 32 students from Cornell University, New York, USA participated in Cornell’s IARD 4020 and 6020 courses in India (during January 3-15, 2012), which focuses on agriculture in developing nations.
