Students to avail 24-hour facility at cyber library

The students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) can now avail the facility of reading in Central Library, BHU round the clock. The much awaited Cyber Library Study Centre at Central Library, BHU with a sitting capacity of 250 students was inaugurated by BHU, chancellor Dr. Karan Singh in the university premises on Sunday.

AIP in harness with AAU to create value added products from agricultural waste

The Assam Agriculture University (AAU) under the aegis of the Agricultural Innovation Partnership (AIP) plans to take a pivotal role in disseminating among entrepreneurs and NGOs technologies to produce marketable products from agricultural waste. Towards this end, AAU is organizing a workshop on December 4 and 5, 2012 on developing and marketing innovative, value-added products from agricultural waste.

A training program on e-learning began at the Assam Agricultural University here from Monday to equip the teachers and students of the university to complete with the universities of the other developed countries. This programme is the first of its kind ever organised in the university.
