Mapping the Road to an Innovative Agriculture Education System compiles and analyses baseline surveys carried out at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat; Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut by AIP.Conducted to assess the current status of agricultural education and evaluate several aspects of the curricula, education delivery and extension in the three universities, the report highlights the strengths and weaknesses in agricultural education. It also takes into account the views of employers who hired graduates from these agricultural universities.

Fostering industry specific training for the Food and Agri sector analyses the human resource gap in workforce in agriculture sector at the lower levels and suggests appropriate courses in this regard. Prepared by Sathguru Management Consultants under the aegis of the Agricultural Innovation Partnership, this document provides a glimpse of a few select areas in agriculture where the shortfall in workforce is prominent and the rationale behind developing these courses.
